ADV #18, Meet a Redwood Over 1,800 Years Old

This was a tricky adventure because Big Tree (bottom pic) is listed as only 1,500 years old. We asked 1 National Park Ranger, 1 State Park Ranger, and 2 visitor center volunteers, and they said that don't really know where the oldest Redwood is in the parks, and if they did they wouldn't tell us (for it's protection). So the best we could do was at the Founders Tree (top pic) in the Avenue of the Giants, where it is said that trees as old as 2,200 years are found in the same grove.
