We visited the Marshall Gold State Historic Park in the town of Coloma, the site of Sutter's Mill where James Marshall first discovered gold in 1848. By the end of 1849 over 90,000 people came to California for the (beginning of the) gold rush.Capture California, The Lion and The Crab Team
